TRULAC's Services

TRULAC will provide legal aid service to the following,
matrimonial cause, civil cases, child maintenance, child custody, criminal
cases, labour disputes, insurance, rape, inheritance, land disputes,
landlord/tenants disputes, investment disputes, human rights violation
cases, child abuse cases, refugees, environmental laws, health, water,
energy issues and sanitation and hygienic education.
Objectives of TRULAC
Objectives.
- The Center will undertake the following main objectives;
(i)
To promote and protect human
rights for all, particularly for poor women, children, men and the vulnerable,
including people living with HIV and AIDS.
(ii) Creating legal and human rights awareness and empowerment among the
general public and, in particular, the underprivileged sections of the society
through legal and civic education, advocacy, and research.
(iii)
To provide
legal aid services to indigent women, children, men and the vulnerable,
including people living with HIV/AIDS in Tanzania.
(iv)
To conduct
reconciliations, drafting legal documents and representing clients to courts of
law.
(v)
To
facilitate community capacity building on women, men’s and children’s legal and
human rights.
(vi)
To
undertake analysis of policies and laws and influence favorable changes for
protection of women, men and children
rights
(vii)
To
undertake research with a view to informing advocacy initiatives.....etc
